Felipe Gordon's new EP on Flat White had this space cadet shufflin' a touch lately with it's lazy afternoon disco rubs, a jazz acid affair, and a sneaky party tune plus that artwork is silly fresh. Found a bangin' digital track from the lovely Shite Music out of Leipzig, Frambosier's La Béner Connexion, a perfect tune to get 'em while you've already got 'em. Gonna leave on that Soulphiction tip with his new one on Local Talk, dirty soul sample on the title track Bizzness is hard to not feel. Get it from Downtown 304 is if you're hard up on it like me! Peace!

Check out some of these sunshiney ray's on Kolja Gerstenberg and Schiggeria's 'Saver Flex EP', the sorta-kinda 60's influenced Blue Shoe is particularly good for a lift-off! Let's follow on from that and tinkle them ivories with Andrade on 'Float Left'. Damn fine jazzy, dubby goodness! Alright, let's not get too comfortable, ya'll need a little grit on your bits! Here's Leif Müller with 'Monday'. That's a track that's gonna pound on your door till you open up! Go pre-order the new Art Alfie on Toy Tonics, it's got vibes for days. Check out 'Like I Said' and yell it out; 'This is so scrumptious, is it hand shucked?'.

Most of the time, I'm looking for a wide array of emotions in music; moody, sad, happy, introspective, just to name a few. Sometimes though, I'm looking for one thing and one thing alone, pure ear splitting aggression, and if you're ever in a similar boat, Laura Grabb has got you covered. Based in Michigan, she's been releasing music since 93, but her collaborative project with Freddy Fresh, Colombia 159, is the first bit of new material we've heard in over 17 years. She absolutely doesn't miss a beat, and the two producers have even more material laying in wait. Check out that one on bandcamp, and for the fans of the more melodic stuff, Carmen's 80s boogie/house hybrid Throw Down got repressed recently, so check that bright & fun one out here and big ups Sound Metaphors. Till next week y'all!
