It’s a shame there’s not been much mention of Monologues Records from us blast off bois, it’s a pretty great label run by Ben Gomori (aka G. Markus who we obvi love to bits). Been feeling releases from Kolja Gerstenberg and Danvers lately. The latter has a fantastic mix that’s had me all in the, “OMG I wanna explore some bad ass broken beat territory as a DJ now” feels cause versatility is a beautiful thing to strive for amirite? There’s also some fantastic disco bits recently released on Take Away from Kool DJ Dust thats had me all swoony and stuff so you’re welcome to go get your life with that tune over here. Gonna peace out on a campy galactic disco journey from Crown Heights Affair till next week though, bye!!

Can you get down? Let’s test the theory, with Belpaese’s ‘Sentimento’. The kind of edit that is just going to annihilate on your dance-floor, and make fronts rub! Jay Tripwire is here to make sure your limbs are supple too. The sublimely clubby ‘Starseed’ plots a course taking in all the essential sites. If you like your basslines complex but rigid enough to bump to, then the ‘Blank Slate EP’ from Alexkid meets all your needs and then kneads your meats. Alright, that’s enough from me! Love you.

How does he keep doing it? Head Lobster, Jimmy Asquith, released the first single off of his second Asquith white label 12" yesterday, and it's a damn stomper. 'Never Alone' is already giving me neck pain from the rugged drums, bass and synth stabs. Other than that I've been really diggin' the third volume of Throng of Orbs from Ears Have Eyes. Chocky offers up a deep, hypnotic house tune, 'Pickle Dat', while Elles and Violet team up for 'YRNYB' a track with an important message, equally catchy production and a nice bit of acid. Pick that one up right here, till next time y'all!
