So Julien Dyne just released a new album and it’s really, really good. I’ve been out of touch with my boogie loving side for a bit now and this LP’s multitude of flavors is DJ friendly as hell or perfect stuff to get some chores around the house done. Peep that in full over here. There’s also been some intriguing activity in Iceland from the label Borg Ltd. It’s hosted some fantastic artists so far including the Organ Grinder, Locklead, and even Frits Wentink, but their new Homegrown EP has got some cuts! They welcome Intr0beatz this go around along with Icelandic guys Felix Leifur and ILO as well. Give it a listen over on Juno and snatch it unless you like waiting on digital releases which I most certainly do not. Peace!

Let’s all be thankful for friendship! It’s surely one of the most important parts of humanity and an overlooked longing that we can suffer from! With that in mind, chums, check out Shit Robot’s unreal remix of ‘I Got Friends’ by Warmduscher, a slowmo ignition tool that will give you all the rubber-limbs. We’ll always advocate for bouncing around, and ‘Ricochet’ by Bambooman is that perfect invitation, just pure filth mixed with off-kilter sweetness. Get in. I was looking for an upcoming tack on Techara Music but I can’t find it online anyway, so just go and listen to all their stuff, because it’s rad!

I'm a disco obsessed boy, but believe me when I say that jungle has always been close to my heart, which is why I was stoked to see vxpowl uploaded a mid 90s era mix earlier this week. It's short and sweet, with bass and samples blasting oh so right all throughout. Speaking of rad mixes, Octo Octa's most recent Boiler Room set got uploaded recently as well. When I think I can't love her anymore, she goes and throws down an hour of pure joy like this, with plenty of tracks to jack, lift your spirits and all out rave to. Must peep! I'll close out with a throwback, Marvin Gaye's super smooth, disco rap track, Ego Trippin Out from his unreleased, Love Man album from 79. That one was kind of a mind blower for me, as it's a bit left of center in terms of most hip-hop that was being recorded at the time, but the braggadocios lyrical themes are the same ones that have become standard today, neat stuff. Alright, that's it for me, till next time y'all!
