Gallegos just dropped a breakbeat affair titled Mad As Hell on Banoffee Pies Records recently. It’s a breath of fresh air with four varying tracks from an artist featured just a small handful of times in the Limited Series that I’ve loved so much on that same label. Peep that business on Soundcloud right here. Its also been announced that the guys over at Kolour LTD are calling it quits after 15 years of quality tunes aiding in the careers of so many great producers. To send off with a bang they’ve got Australia’s The Posse teed up to end an era with their lovely yet sometimes subtly acidic DIY sound. I’ve collected their ventures on Plastic World and Ken Oath which are really flavorful displays of tempos and look forward to snatching up this new one out December 14th. Music is 4 Lovers has all the tracks in full up on their profile so holler at all those winter warmers and until next time, peace y’all!!
It’s always twilight according to this awesome anthemic synth pounder from Forriner (although to be fair, sometimes it’s After Eights). Pick it up on their EP 17:17 Neon. The latest Boiler Room from Roman Flügel bugged-me-the-fuck-out on Monday morning, and introduced me to some incredible records. Chiefly; the result of New Line Cinema going raving Chinaski - Unruhe and swamp-in-a-blender-at-the fairground, Dean Grenier - Individuate. Double dare are you to not dance! For some slightly lighter fare I managed to pick up, Paula Tape - Agua Congas for some good tin pan fun, that’s a welcome warm trip away from all the gloom. Actually, while we’re being pleasant, lets join hands and flounce around to this essential Piano-Banger on Let’s Play House. Have fun times.
Yaeji returns with a ethereal & hypnotic tune with some psychedelic visuals to go along with, peep One More right here if ya know whats good for ya. I got the word that our friend LADYMONIX has a track coming out on the newest Pleasure of Love compilation from Dino Soccio's label of the same name. No previews yet, but keep your eyes peeled and check the other releases if ya haven't already. Last treat I'll mention is one from Todd Osborn, who came up in the drum and bass scene first, even starting the first record store to sell it in Detroit years back. 'Not Too Real' off the SuperDisc EP is a bright and bangin' track with a serious acid bassline to it, head over to Portage Garage Sounds' bandcamp for that one, and I'll catch y'all next week!
