Hope y’all survived Christmas and are coasting through the end of the year ready to take on 2019. Uncovered some quality oddball business recently called Edits for the Common Man Vol. 1 & 2, both cover a nice range of sounds that’ll hook you to the whole package. Can’t remember if we ever touched on a little repress of Cobra Edits Vol. 3 either so I’ll drop that Juno link right here. I’ll cross my fingers for you if you’re looking to grab some post Christmas stocking stuffers before they’re gone. See y’all next year!

I don't know about y'all but now that the holidays are over my broke ass needs a cheap musical fix, so of course I went diving on bandcamp. First up is a two piece from the mysterious A/B Sides, no real info available, but both tracks are just as lush as they are quirky, adding a nice touch to the patented Detroit sound. Check that one out here. Another sweet release that'll be easy on the wallet is Montreal based Head Nodders' Sass EP for L'enfant Terrible Records. On the A side, you've got a slightly acidic bassline and dreamy bits of piano, synths and strings that seem to drift in and out of the song with ease, while the flip side is more energetic and bright, give the whole thing a spin here. I'll close out with a recent score and some throwback funk, in Atmosfear's first single, Dancing In Outer Space, which has everything a lil disco boy like me could ever ask, a thick bassline, cosmic synths and a hint of dub. Till next week friendos!
