Mood Hut is back on my radar in no time at all with their release of a fantastic single from one of their co-founders, Local Artist. He put out a great EP on Rhythm Section International a couple years back called Feelings that is in my record collection for when I need a dose of just that, feelings. The Dancer/Dreamer single though has breathed life into the winding down summer season for me with its left field warmth and quips that keep you guessing, major recommend on that one. It's been announced that Mella Dee is being welcomed to the Shall Not Fade family with and EP out at the end of this month. He's well known for tagging with the lovable silly Scot, Denis Sulta on the festival circuit and serving some top notch ravey vibes as well as running the Warehouse Music label. Expect upfront club cuts ripe for the knockin', snippets up over on Soundcloud. Until next time!

I've deffo been on swimming in the darkness recently, favouring more angular grooves - but it's nice to dive right in to an uplifting groove like Lood & Mallgrab's 'Love Is Real'. A Parisian influence for sure, but with the horns that slot it perfectly on to a modern dance-floor. Alright, I'n gonna slither back in to the darkness with Fake Eyes Production  'Zamara', because I love drums and making silly stank faces. Pogo House Records have a new compilaion out, it's all chunky old-school vibes like the delectable 'G-Thang' by SEBASTARD. Hip house 4lyfe. x

Bless the repress y'all, and big ups to CC:Disco and Kalita Records for this goodness, as some amazing Highlife songs from Nana Tuffour are available for pre-order. Sikyi Medley, in all it's bliss, is already up for our listening enjoyment on Kalita's channel, listen to that one here. Jamie Trench premiered his 'That Teebs' track for Knights of the Turntable yesterday, and that one is just hard as hell, the baseline has me feelin' all types of ways, give that one a listen here. Closin' out with a little throwback, early 90s rave-y house business from L.U.P.O. that I found in the depths of the local shop, get you some of those sweet, sweet classic grooves on this 'So Hard' club mix here. Till next week!
