It’s been a minute so it’s time to bring up some stuff for the flip side of my musical tastes, like this split between Fede Lng and Deejay Astral on Who’s Susan called Pack the Pipe from a year ago. From dusty emotive sounds evoking memories, to wubby and low acidic flecks, to jackathons, it’s a very sensory pleasing EP that I’m looking forward to playing. Been on an Anthony Naples kick as of late too. Everything from his fantastic contributions on Mister Saturday Night to this split with him & Hank Jackson on Proibito or even this deep thing from last spring. The man’s got an ear. Leaving everyone with this gem by Paula Tape on Project Pablo’s label SOBO. Aqua Congas is strictly for those sun kissed afternoons with remix service from Mr. Holland himself to follow while Playa Frenesì is ready for party time.

After an appearance on DJ Seinfeld’s DJ Kicks mix, Rudolf C’s ‘Deep Sea Survivor’ gets a release on an ep of the same name through . Its a real fun time with end of the world pads and acid squelches! Top pick for me is ‘Second Hand Love‘. Bringing the tempo down a bit, there’s 2 beautiful ethno-psychedelic chuggers on ‘Viracochas Volume 1’ a digital double A side featuring the solid talents of Dandara and Rapossa. Lets finish up odd and banging, same way i like my coffee. Aus Music served up a huge slice of warehouse euphoria with Tunnels from Sei A, i’ll be throwing this one out whenever possible. Toodles!

Lawd y'all, I've got one still hot off the presses, the latest offering from Pusic Records comes in the form of an EP from the Berlin based Ant Orange. The fine folks from the Austrian based label went ahead and put the full tracks up on soundcloud which was nice, cause this thing is full of styles. Stuttered breakbeats, warped jungle, hints of garage, soulful deepness, bits of goodness for most any dancer out there, check back for pre-order details. Next up, a feature on Australian royalty Roza Terenzi went up on Resident Advisor today as well, wherein she describes how she went from playing jazz guitar and writing crap raps, to touring internationally and releasing 6 EPs in a single year. Read the full thing here and get that damn split she did with Sleep D if ya haven't already. Till next time!
