After a stellar EP from Ryan Berkeley last fall, Australia’s Houses in Motion are back at it again. This time around New Zealand newcomer Nice Girl brings a beautifully varied EP of all sorts of moody textures for diversifying your sets at any time of night. From the A-side’s swirling driving depth to downtempo sonic beauty and stripped back snappy appeal, the B-side is much more upfront. With Jupiter giving an unmatchable throw of ethereal; 1011 is low, slick, and sludgey. Going to leave the final curveball of this release a mystery for you to solve.
